Description
Øygarden was from 1964 to 2019 an island municipality in Hordaland county. The area faces the North Sea and is otherwise surrounded by fjords. To the north lies Fedje, to the east Radøy and Askøy. Øygardsvegen starts at Ågotnes in Fjell municipality and goes to Hellesøy, in the very north of Øygarden. From 2020, the area is part of the new Øygarden municipality.
