Business Details

Norway's most spectacular rock formation

Trolltunga is a mountain spring at 1100 masl, around 700 meters above Ringedalsvatnet, in Skjeggedal by Tyssedal in Ullensvang municipality, Vestland county. The rock formation has, after spectacular photos shared on the internet in recent years, attracted a large number of visitors. The most common access to Trolltunga is from Skjeggedal (by Tyssedal) where there is a path to Mågelitopp along the track. From here you have to walk east around 4 hours to get to Trolltunga

In the far west of Hardangervidda, not too far from the town of Odda, Trolltunga juts straight out of the mountain.
