At Sunnfjord Museum you can learn about life in the inner Sunnfjord villages. We have 32 historic buildings, which have been set up to look like a traditional two-bay yard, farmstead and barn. In addition, we ha ve a school building and several detached buildings. Our collection of objects is varied and spans several hundred years, and we also have a large photo collection. Sunnfjord Museum opened in Førde in 1926, and was moved to Movika in the 1950s.
