Jostedalsbreen is a glacier in Vestland county, in the municipalities of Luster, Sogndal, Jølster and Stryn, as well as a small part in Skjåk municipality in the Inland. The glacier covers an area of 487 km and is the largest glacier on the European mainland. Jostedalsbreen National Park was established in 1991 and covers an area of 1310 km
